Why do you call your Blog “Beagles and Babies”?

We consider Millie and Katie to be part of the family and in our

quest to expand the family to include the less furry kind

we have found our gorgeous Beagles have been true gifts,

keeping us laughing but I must admit at times their mischief

may not be considered so funny at the time!

How often do you make postings?

About twice a week.

Does Millie and Katie have other nicknames?

Yes - together we refer to them as the “ladies” - these Beagles have certain expectations and standards you see! They can also be called the “puppies” .

Millie may be called Millicent if she is being naughty and Katie has acquired the additional nick name of “the moo” as in Katie Moo Moo - don’t ask me about that - Andrew came up with this name and I have adopted it.

What does Andrew think about this Blog?

He is quite supportive and I like him to read my Blog before posting it. The amusing thing is that we tend to find ourselves in the one room  - our study, where I am working on the site, Andrew is doing his work and the “ladies” are also in their beanbags in the room. I really don’t know why we bothered to get a 4 bedroom house!

Why did you chose Beagles?

I fell inlove with Beagles when I saw them at the airport in the customs area. I did further research about this breed and I liked the fact that they had a lot of energy, very child friendly and not very large - a good size to snuggle on the sofa with (when one’s husband is not available off course!).

Are Millie and Katie related?

No, however I got them from the same Breeder. How we came to get Katie is an interesting tale which will be covered is one of my postings. They have such different personalities which makes it all the more amusing!
